Shangril'attic
Shangril'attic is situated on the right part of the top floor.
It is filled with objects that I'm still using in my different dioramas or/and stories like books, photo albums, posters, candle holders, old frames, wooden horses, chests, etc.. They are filling the room covered by spider webs (artificial... most of it) and dust ... totally genuine.
These are the first pics I took that shows the basic idea for the attic. Sean is standing under it, wondering where are the stairs?? There are none.
I have covered the partition wall with self-adhesive stone wall contact paper.
I left the pine floor natural.
I placed some beams to give the idea of a pitched roof.
After this anything went. Old pictures and posters, little statues and Christmas ornaments, hat boxes, old rocking horse, antique calendar and... hidden skeletons ??
From time to time Marie comes to this remote and dusty place to find inspiration watching old pictures albums
