How to: Buckles

Buckles are often needed for belts, hand bags, or even shoes.  this is more a tip than How-to, but I hope it can be helpful.

As I always favor recycling, I rarely buy buckles for my dolls.  so I recycle all the bras strap clips I can find. My friends and sisters knowing this, I got now quite a collection. Sizes and colors vary, and this is quite good too.

I use the larger  rings as handles for my knitted hand bags

Here I show you how I am making one simple belt. it is only by pictures as it is quite self-explanatory.

Here are the made in home belt on various, mostly 16"dolls . The last pic show you that some buckle are perfectly alright for Barbie too.
